This is another family favorite that is highly requested. It is both my father's and grandfather's favorite dessert; the pineapple upside down cake. This is my take on it with the recipe coming from Facebook many years ago. I love how the bunt cake style and cherries gives it such an elegant presentation while the recipe makes it tastes as good as it looks.
This recipe calls for a bunt cake pan and 8 maraschino cherries for this special presentation. I first saw this take on the famous cake circling on Facebook.
