With a full time job, sometimes it is hard to be in the kitchen for hours each day preparing dinner, and sometimes slow cooker meals just sound good. This is an easy recipe for one of those days.
For this recipe, I couldn't find a packet of Italian Seasoning so I used my own, but this recipe is based on the packet recipe which I first found on Facebook.
Ingredients: (For about 6 servings)
- 28 ounces of Beef Broth
- 2 pounds of Beef Roast
- 1 packet of Italian Seasoning or use your own
- 1 onion or more to your liking
- Your favorite bread for the bun
- Your favorite cheese
Cooking:
1. Place the beef broth, beef roast, seasoning and onion into slow cooker and cook on low all day
2. Shred the beef in the last hour of cooking
3. Toast the bread with cheese until the bread is slightly crisp and the cheese is melted
4. Top the toasted bread with a big scoop of beef and serve
5. Enjoy!
