I often find myself craving meatball sandwiches so I figured I needed to figure out a quick, easy way to make my own. In my busy schedule sometimes it is easier to through everything in a slow-cooker and let time do the work, other times it just tastes better. If you have pre-made meatballs ready to go, that would make this even easier but I am adding the meatball recipe in this because I usually make them when I want them.
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds Ground Beef
- 1 1/2 cup Italian Bread Crumbs
- 1/3 cup Parsley
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Onion chopped
- 2 jars Marinara
- French Rolls
- sliced Cheese of your choice I recommend provolone
Cooking:
1. Add beef, bread crumbs, parsley, garlic, onion and eggs in a bowl and form into meatballs
2. Place meatballs at the bottom of the slow cooker and add marinara covering meatballs completely
3. Cook on low for 8 hours
4. Toast rolls if preferred, add cheese and scoop a few meatballs and marinara onto roll
5. Enjoy!
