During the COVID19 outbreak, the stores have been out of bread and ground beef. I had fresh steak sandwich meat and bagel thins so I figured I would try a philly on bagel thins. It turned out more delicious than I could have anticipated. The bread didn't get soggy and the full flavors came through.
Ingredients:
-1 Bagel Thin
- Pepperjack cheese to your liking
- 1 pound Sandwich Steak
- 1/2 Onion sliced
- 1 Pepper of your choice
- Salt, Cumin, Cayenne to your liking
Cooking:
1. Season the steak and cook to a medium rare/medium
2. Saute the onion and pepper
3. Toast the bagel thin
4. Add the cheese to the steak
5. Place the steak, cheese, onion and peppers on the bagel thin
6. Enjoy!
